CONNECT: Family & Friends:

This monthly family-friendly group is geared towards families with children as well as singles or couples who feel that they've out-grown our CONNECT: Young Adults group.  We usually meet in a couple of different homes on the last Sunday of the month for lunch following the morning service. All who join us are encouraged to bring a main dish to share.

The purpose of CONNECT: F&F is to build community and get to know each other better over food, conversation, and games. While it has a social emphasis, we also have a short family-friendly devotional and opportunity to pray for each other. We ask that all "regulars" RSVP no later than the Thursday before each scheduled lunch, but each host home will also have room for any new families or guests who would like to join us on that given Sunday. Family Events:

Throughout the year, we also host a number of great family-friendly events that are perfect for inviting friends and neighbours and introducing them to our church community. Every February, we hold the Royal Ball, a free event for kids of all ages to attend with a grownup that features a dance party, games, activities, snacks, crafts, and a photo booth. In May, we have our annual community Bike Rodeo which features an inflatable obstacle course and bouncy castle, emergency vehicles, a bike road course, and much more. Through the Bike Rodeo, we've raised thousands of dollars to support community helping organizations or our local school. We also have several family movie nights throughout the year where we provide free popcorn and drinks.
